In 2021, I made one decision that changed my life.
I committed to moving.
That decision led to losing more than 80 pounds, embracing sobriety, and eventually crossing the finish line of my first IRONMAN®.
Now I'm taking on my biggest challenge yet.
Beginning in 2027, my goal is to complete every full-distance IRONMAN® race in the United States within a single calendar year, documenting the journey to inspire others to discover what's possible through movement, consistency, and perseverance.
This isn't about finishing first.
It's about showing what's possible when ordinary people choose to keep moving forward.
Movement changed my life.
Not because every workout was perfect, but because every small step added up over time.
My hope is that this journey encourages someone else to take their own first step, whether that's walking around the block, getting sober, training for their first 5K, or pursuing a dream they've been putting off.
Throughout the challenge I'll be sharing:
* Race training
* Behind-the-scenes preparation
* Successes and setbacks
* Lessons learned on and off the course
* Stories from athletes and communities across the country
Every finish line begins with a single decision to start.
I'm racing with TEAM IMF to raise funds that help create opportunities through sport and physical activity. Your support makes this challenge about more than crossing finish lines.
